QA systems, automation, and practical experiments from the field.
// Better tests. Better releases. Less theater.
I'm Robert Boles — a QA lead who builds real systems, experiments in public, and turns the messy lessons into reusable guides. This is the knowledge base.

Projects — proof I build
Vox Mana
A live Commander discovery tool — read your play style, get a color-identity reading, find cards, and learn the table. It's where I run enterprise QA habits at hobby scale: source-governed data that never outruns its evidence, visual-regression discipline, and AI-assisted work kept on a short leash.
// concepts I'm exploring — not built yet
Recipe Flexibility App
Adapts recipes to cookware, time, substitutions, and family constraints.
MTG Store Inventory
Inventory ingestion, pricing, condition tracking, sales support.

Why this site exists
Most QA writing is either resume theater or abstract process. I wanted a place that's neither: a working knowledge base from someone who owns release confidence in production and still ships side projects on the weekend.
Three lanes run through everything here — professional authority (QA strategy, automation, metrics), builder proof (Vox Mana and other experiments), and a way of working — how I document, hand off, and turn messy projects into reusable systems.
