MTG Store Inventory App Concept

Inventory ingestion, pricing, condition tracking, and local game store support.

MTGInventoryProduct Strategy

Problem

Local card inventory is hard to evaluate because condition, pricing, demand, duplicates, and data ingestion all interact.

Goal

Explore whether a lightweight app could help a local store understand inventory value, sales opportunity, and operational gaps.

Stack

Concept stage; possible future stack includes card APIs, barcode/CSV ingestion, pricing feeds, and condition workflows.

Constraints

Inventory data quality, pricing volatility, card condition judgment, and store-specific workflow differences.

What I built

A product framing around ingestion, normalization, pricing, condition tracking, and decision support.

What broke

The moat is not just displaying card data; existing tools already do that. The opportunity is workflow fit and store-level insight.

What I learned

A product stands out when it solves the messy operational layer, not just the visible lookup problem.
